On reaching Madurai check in hotel and later move out for the local tour. Visit Sri Meenakshi Temple , Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thirupparankundram Temple, Alagar Koil, Gandhi Museum and so on. DAY 2 - MADURAI -TANJORE |
Morning after breakfast drive to Tanjore – “The rice bowl of Tamil Nadu”. This city lies on the south bank of the Kaveri River . It is famous for the Brahadeeshwara Temple which was constructed more than thousands of years ago by the Chola emperor.
